James Davey is one of the UK's most distinguished and respected young choral conductors, in demand for his work as conductor, choir trainer and choral education practitioner.

James is Musical Director of Chantage, BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year 2006 (which he founded in 1999 on taking up residency at St Paul's Cathedral School as Music Assistant), the Aylesbury Festival Choir, the Chandos Chamber Choir, the Fleet Singers and a number of office choirs, including; Guardians' Angels (the choir of the Guardian newspaper), Channel 4's own staff choir 4Tunes, Centaur Media PLC's office choir, Waddesdon Manor staff choir and more.
James is also a Choir Trainer for the Royal College of Music Junior Department, an Assistant Conductor for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, and a tutor for the Cranleigh Choral Week, the Ingenium Academy and the Canford Summer School of Music.
